Sign Systems

– We have a variety of sign systems available such as Monoform, Totem Elipso, Monoframe, Chameleon, and Sculptura.

-The benefit of the monolith signage systems is that they are constructed using a metal frame and separate panels. Once you have the frame in place the panels can then be removed and updated with ease.

-Signage systems are available as complete sign packages, with interior and exterior sign products available. Whether you have existing interior signage in place, comprising of one of the above sign system, or if you are embarking on a complete signage overhaul, choosing a specific sign system family to use throughout your interior and exterior signage project will give a visitors and employees a sense of continuity.

Technical Options

Material:

– Mild steel subframe with aluminium or stainless steel face panels.
– Feature elements may incorporate other materials

Monolith signs are built around a galvanized mild steel framework. The face panels are usually either aluminium or stainless steel.
Additional ‘feature’ elements – such as stand-off panels, individual letters etc., are available in a wide range of other materials.

Finish/Colour:

– Painted to any BS/RAL colours (other colours can be mixed)
– Brushed or polished finish

Aluminium panels are stove-enamelled to colour. We hold a wide range of standard colours in stock, and can also mix colours to match your brand identity.
Stainless steel may have a brushed or polished finish

Graphics:

– Silk screen printed
– Plot-cut applied vinyl
– Applied digital print
– Fret-cut with push-through acrylic

Graphic and text can be reproduced in a variety of ways, to suit the design and practical application of the sign.

Silk screen printed text uses high quality stoving inks and may be Vanguard overlacquered for additional protection.

Plot-cut text/icons use quality cast vinyls, which are precision cut using high-speed digital cutting technology.

Digitally printed graphics are faithfully reproduced on a high quality Eco-solvent digital vinyl printer and will be over-laminated for additional protection.

Fret-cut lettering may be backed with push-through acrylic and may be faced with either steel, painted aluminium or cast-vinyls. This is suitable for internal halo illumination.

Added Features:

– Built-up or flat-cut individual lettering
– Individual panels on stand off fixings
– Modular system components
– Lockable display cases

Monolith signs can have a range of additional design features. These may be incorporated within the sign structure or applied to the face panels.

Fixing:

– Extended legs
– Caged foundation

Monolith signs are installed via extended legs or using a caged foundation. The choice of installation method is subject to sign size, wind loading and structural calculations.

Alternatively, movable monolith signs for internal use are also available.

Illumination:

– Internal or ‘halo effect’ – using fluorescent or LED
– External footlights

Monolith signs may be internally illuminated, giving either a ‘face’ illumination or ‘halo effect’.
We prefer LED lighting for it’s low-maintenance and energy-efficient properties. Fluorescent lighting is also available.
