Deva City Office Park
Deva City Office Park is situated in the heart of Manchester city centre. A wide range of business space is available; including The Tower, The Copper Room and The Malt House original Grade II listed former brewery buildings which have been sympathetically refurbished to provide high specification office space. The Brewery Yard is complemented by a development of 17 self-contained contemporary office units. Arranged around a central courtyard, the units offer the added benefit of secure car parking and the city centre amenities are easily accessible.
In May 2012 we were approached by SBS Architects on behalf of the client Highcross, who sought a signage supplier with the expertise and knowledge to deliver a reliable and professional manufacture and installation of an illuminated sign to be fitted over a brick railway arch facing Chapel Street.
The archway functions as a walkway leading to the office park; and it was intended that the new sign would increase general awareness of the office park and direct people through the archway and in to Deva City Office Park.
We visited the property to ensure that comprehensive surveys were completed and attended meetings with various stakeholders. We provided visuals and CAD drawings that were used in conjunction with the technical CAD drawings supplied by SBS Architects.
The client had invested in improving the inner appearance of the walkway and needed a high quality sign to compliment this, the signage needed to be eye catching to passers-by and to include the Deva City Office Park brand identity. A 3D illuminated design was chosen, the completed sign was constructed from fret cut aluminium face panels with push through backlit LED illuminated acrylic letters to achieve face illuminated letters and logo only when lit.
We ensured that we met with the stringent guidelines of National Rail, as the steel work supporting the sign was to be fixed to their property
We are in discussion with Highcross to further compliment the new signage with an additional matching monolith sign at the Trinity Way entrance.
